WHY WE ARE HERE

In every generation it is a challenge to know God the Father and Creator of all that exist, to know his son Jesus, our older Brother who died for us and rose to life to return us to our original state of oneness and walking with the Father, and to know his Holy Spirit, the bringer of Comfort and Power who helps us to live our lives again as true sons and daughters of the Father.

We can go to many places to hear about God, his son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Many churches and on-line sites offer a lot of information on who He is, what He does, and why He does it. And that is a good first step!

But that is not the same as knowing Him, experiencing Him, and being blessed while being with Him. We are here to share how we and others came to know Him, our experiences while walking with Him, and how we grew in our relationships with Him.

We hope you will come to develop your own relationship with Him, to experience the joy and healing that He brings, and to be able to re-develop the beautiful relationships that He wants to have with you, and with His family!

Getting to Know Him

Our Experiences with Him

Sometimes:

He just jumps in and says hi.

Many of the Old Testament prophets met him this way.

Daniel, Isaiah, Ezekiel.

The apostles met Jesus this way. Peter and John were fishing. Paul was walking on his way to stop Christians from sharing what they had experienced.

Sometimes:

He arranges events to happen for your benefit so often that you know that someone is driving the ship, you just happen to be on the boat. Someone once said coincidence is God working incognito.

Sometimes:

It is a desperate prayer for help, and He is there. You know it, because it is a conscious being comforting, protecting, or even communicating with you. You can't explain how it works, but you know it's real.

How did you meet Him?

Our Experiences with Him

Some of us may have experienced God in person:

Jesus or an angel of God showing up in person and interacting with you, or maybe being taken to heaven and interacting with the Father, Son, angels, or apostles.

Some have experienced God in visions:

Like Stephen and have seen Jesus and the Father, some have seen angels, some are given visions to share with others, and some are given messages for themselves.

Others have been given dreams or have been given knowledge:

about a person or a situation that allows them to help.

Some of us have had an overwhelming peace or joy come upon us and we are aware that we are in the presence of God or his messengers.

Some of us just know that He has reached out to us to comfort us, to reassure us, or even to share ideas that help us or even help us to laugh.

What about your experiences with Him?

The first question I want to ask is:

If you knew He was real, beyond a shadow of doubt, would you want Him as your Father, your Brother, or your Friend?

Or would you want to get to know them more before going forward?

How would you go about learning more about Him? How do you choose your friends now?

God called Abraham a friend, Moses he talked with face to face and reasoned with him, David was a man after his own heart.

This is our passion. To share the God we know, and for us to share with each other how to know Him, his son Jesus, and the

Holy Spirt.

I pray that what you find and experience here, will take you from hearing about Him, to knowing Him, experiencing Him, and being filled with the joy, peace, and love of walking a life with Him.
